Such an easy way to see remote areas

Welcome to the annual 2016 Australian Air Holidays (AAH) catalogue of touring adventures. Inside you will find more than 30 exciting itineraries that will entice your senses for travel in our magnificent country. Australia is one of the biggest, most beautiful and interesting places to experience and there is no better way to travel the vast distances than in comfort and style aboard a private aircraft. From special outback events, to iconic and natural wonderment, to cultural and culinary delights, Australian Air Holidays' tours range from just 1 day to 32 days.

Australian Air Holidays

SEE MORE IN LESS TIME

Australian Air Holidays is an alternative to traditional coach touring or self-drive holidays where, instead of spending long hours on a coach travelling from A to B, with its private aircraft you can conquer the Australian tyranny of distance. This allows a lot more time at the destination points for relaxed touring, rather than sitting on coaches for hours on end. AAH's tours are perfect if you are time poor or simply just don't desire long coach journeys. The end result of its flightseeing expeditions is you get to see more in less time. AAH believes this is a very attractive way to holiday and are confident you will too!

BUCKET LIST EXPERIENCE

With AAH you can tick-off items on your 'bucket wish list'. AAH specialises in tours and destinations that are unique and iconic. Tamworth Music Festival, Birdsville Races, Bungle Bungle Range, Torres Strait Islands, walk to the Tip of Australia, Bass Strait Islands, Opera on Sydney Harbour, Uluru, Norfolk Island, the list goes on!

ESCORTED

AAH is proud to have a team of experienced, professional and friendly tour managers. Its tours are escorted from day one of the itinerary until the conclusion of the tour (pre and post touring arrangements may or may not be escorted). Having a tour manager on board means that you can rest assured there is someone on hand to look after your individual needs and make sure you are having a great time!

AAH's mission is to deliver an extraordinary touring experience with seamless transitions and the utmost of care and attention. AAH travellers appreciate the company of friendly, like minded and similar age (50+) touring companions on fully inclusive, escorted holidays.

FLIGHTSEEING

A feature of most AAH tours is to fly "low and slow" over many scenic landscapes and attractions, often as low as 1,000 feet. The scenic flying component is a highlight for many on the holiday and provides a unique perspective and great photo opportunities. There is no better way to see Australia than flying "low and slow" over this great country of ours. To view the Kimberleys, Uluru, Kakadu, the Great Barrier Reef to name but a few is simply magical and awe inspiring!

Who is Australian Air Holidays?

Australian Air Holidays offers unique flightseeing holidays in private aircraft to visit outback, seldom-seen and spectacular parts of Australia. Australian Air Holidays also goes to special rural events and festivals such as the Birdsville Races, that are difficult and expensive to get to by other means.

Established in 2003 using a restored DC3 aircraft, today Australian Air Holidays' uses a variety of aircraft to suit its wide range of holidays. Its main private aircraft is the high-wing Fokker 50, perfect for scenic viewing with up to 46 passengers. Others include a 19-passenger Metroliner where every seat is a window seat, an Air Nostalgia DC3 - the grand old bird of the sky, and, on occasions, a 70-passenger Fokker 70 jet.

Passenger satisfaction is high as indicated by our passenger surveys sent to customers at the completion of each tour. We welcome and take on board passenger comments to make each holiday better than the last. We are very pleased to say that most passengers are repeat customers, many of whom enjoy at least one AAH holiday every year.

Australian Air Holidays is part of the Reed Holidays group, an all-Australian owned company which celebrated 25 years in 2014. Young at Heart Holidays and Seniors Coach Tours are the other brands of the group.

Australian Air Holidays welcomes your interest in its great range of travel options, meticulously planned to give you an unforgettable, happy and relaxed touring experience.
