Journey through the rugged Canadian wilderness… in the least rugged manner possible

All Aboard Amazing…

LUXURY TRAIN GUIDE | SEATTLE • VANCOUVER • CANADIAN ROCKIES

Sit back in your comfortable reclining seat and take in the incredible views… enjoy the most delicious, chef-prepared meals… Rocky Mountaineer takes you on a slow, meandering, luxurious and exciting train journey through Canada's spectacular West, home to a surprisingly wide variety of flora, fauna and wildlife.

The incredible Canadian Rockies, made up of rugged mountain peaks, ice fields and glaciers, wildflower-filled alpine meadows, lakes and waterfalls, British Columbia's west coast and the world's largest remaining intact temperate rainforest, the breathtaking Pyramid Falls, the desert-like conditions of the Fraser Canyon and the pastoral ranchlands of the historic Cariboo Gold Rush region, to name a few Rocky Mountaineer route highlights.

Travelling only by day and often at just 40 kilometres per hour, not only will you have time to catch every detail of the jaw-dropping landscape, but you'll also make friendships that last a lifetime.

Routes that will transport you, in more ways than one.

Rocky Mountaineer offers four distinct rail routes. You now have the unenviable task of choosing between wonderful, fabulous, amazing, and fantastic.

COASTAL PASSAGE

3 Day or More Rail Journey | SEATTLE > VANCOUVER > CANADIAN ROCKIES

Glide along the glittering shoreline between the cosmopolitan cities of Seattle, WA, USA, and Vancouver, BC, Canada, with the Pacific Ocean and Coast Mountains as your backdrop. Let Coastal Passage be your gateway to one of our other incredible routes through the Canadian Rockies.

RAINFOREST TO GOLD RUSH

3 Day Rail Journey | VANCOUVER > WHISTLER > QUESNEL > JASPER

The newest three day route is a study in extremes. It traverses the world’s largest temperate rainforest, the arid ranchlands of the historic Cariboo Gold Rush region, and the dizzying heights of the Rocky Mountains’ highest peaks.

JOURNEY THROUGH THE CLOUDS

2 Day Rail Journey | VANCOUVER > KAMLOOPS > JASPER

This route takes you through the heart of the Canadian Rockies, with all of nature’s raw beauty on full display. Highlights include postcard-perfect Pyramid Falls and the majestic Mount Robson.

FIRST PASSAGE TO THE WEST

2 Day Rail Journey | VANCOUVER > KAMLOOPS > LAKE LOUISE OR BANFF

Over 125 years ago, this route united Canada and helped define a nation. Travelling between Vancouver and Banff or Lake Louise, you’ll witness mountains and wilderness, much of it seemingly unchanged since the days of the first explorers.
