Most of these tours have a maximum group size of 16, and are generally hotel-based. Transport is mainly in private vehicles with flights, overnight trains and riverboat journeys also included in some tours.

Kumuka also offers a selection of active tours which range from trekking in Nepal, Bhutan, Borneo, China and Vietnam to cycle tours in Vietnam, Cambodia and Thailand.
